The frequent winter freeze/thaw cycles we
have in the Front Range result in ice buildup at the north or heavily
shaded eaves that can cause thousands of dollars damage to your home.
Shingles are designed to shed water - they are not waterproof. Ice dams
trap and pool water, which can result in damage to soffits, siding,
drywall, floors, carpet and more. Roof and gutter de-icing cables
prevent this damage.
